The sky it opens wide as she remembers his name
dissapears an instant and then shudders turns and says
that innocence and destiny are one and the same.
Listen to the wind that humms a tune of wispers grey

It says shes got a new philosophy to never be saved
uses all her energy just riding the wave
and time is not the issue as she's breakin through the shadows
keeping close the only thing that ever really mattered.

And the sweet kiss, day that brings me in.
Following inward she turns, soft as a whisker to the bird
soft as a whisper that enters the word.

It's a song of freedom that sings the summer bird.

She wriggles through the cracks of what might sometimes be avoided
underlines the simple things before someone destroys them
and there's more between the instances that's ever occured
she doesn't see the future as the future's absurd.

And the sweet kiss, day that brings me in.
Following inward she turns.
Soft as a whisker to the bird
soft as a whisper that enters the word.
